New Horizon Role Playing Game

New Horizon role-playing games are all about finding yourself in an alien world which humanity have adopted for their own and experiencing exciting adventures while exploring the wild and unknown. For your RPG adventures you will have access to different guides and manuals.

New Horizon offers a new world filled with enough fantastic animals and mysteries to satisfy every hunter, and enough paranormal phenomena to please every adventurer. Explore this world as a wily and cunning human, a powerfully enhanced cyborg, or a genetically spliced and enhanced human created from the deadliest animals on the planet. Or pick from one of three races of androids, the nimble Aesirs, the versatile and deadly Vanirs and the sturdy giants known as Jotuns. Experience exciting battles where slashing melee weapons confront blazing firearms, and find your way through the exciting world of New Horizon.

The free materials (provided on this page) are everything you need to create and start your own New Horizon role playing games. We also have books available for sale, but they are not mandatory. However, they will provide you with additional information that will enhance your experience and game play.

Rule system

New Horizon uses the Volt rule system, designed to be fast, balanced and easy to use. Character creation is simple and there are no classes or levels to restrict customization.

All of the rolls just need two D20 dice. The Volt system is simple, yet very effective.

Selling Points

	Unlike most science fiction worlds, New Horizion is a world that combines technology with a primeval, both rough and wild, setting usually only found in fantasy worlds. It's a place where culture has changed into something familiar and yet vastly different. You can choose to play a city-only RPG, an RPG out in the wilderness, or an RPG that could span the entire globe. The world is ripe for the GM's and players to take advantage of.
	Ever since people came to this world they have been trying to force civilization upon it, and tame its wild nature. The cities and factions of New Horizon are the core of humanity and around its margins lays the wildlife with all its creatures and monsters.
	New Horizon is home to both Humans and self aware Androids. Having long ago worked out their differences, they work together on this unforgiving world to ensure their mutual survival. Time has split both Humans and Androids alike into three distinct sub-groups providing a total of six unique playable races.
	Characters evolve by acquiring new skills (called Traits in New Horizon). A wide selection of Traits for any of the available races allows you to customize your character in any direction you desire.
	The RPGs, Art, and Setting have a mixture of anime, western, hard science fiction and sword-and-sorcery, stewed together to make a unique style for this world.

Other New Horizon Games

We also develop Mobile Phone games and PC games. Most recently we started developing a new PC game called The Colors of New Horizon. A few years ago we developed New Horizon Code T.A.U for Mobile Phones. This game had a unique "random background generating system". We also developed a free fan-based demo for Game Boy Advance using our own Lypson Game Engine. The demo was called MegaMan New Horizon and it was released in 2006.
